Are meal expenses included in the reservation price? Who prepares the meals?

Meal expenses are not included in the reservation price. Meals onboard consist of two main steps: shopping for ingredients and preparing meals. Shopping is the guests’ responsibility, and the preparation of meals is also organized by the guests. However, guests who do not wish to handle meal preparation can hire a hostess as an additional service. You can find hostess fees and details on the boat’s profile page or contact us.

Are fuel expenses included in the reservation fee?

Yes, fuel expenses are included in the reservation fee. However, the daily cruising time is typically limited to 3 hours. Additional fuel costs may apply for extended cruising hours.

How is the travel route determined?

You can plan your travel route with your captain. Your route is arranged within the daily 3-hour cruising time and fuel expenses. Additional fuel fees may apply for longer routes.

What is the minimum rental period?

What is a transit log?

A transit log is an official permit that must be obtained before each departure of the boat.

How is the rental fee paid?

Europa Sailors offers secure payment by credit card. 50% of the reservation fee is paid at the time of booking, and the remaining 50% must be paid 1 month before the boat s check-in date.

How are additional fees paid?

Payments for extra services and additional charges are made during the boat check-in.

What is a deposit, and when is it paid?

When renting a boat, a refundable deposit is required. The deposit amount is usually blocked on your credit card. The deposit is refunded once the boat is returned without damage.
